Yoga has incredible benefits on ones mental emotional and physical self. Through breath, yoga teaches steadiness, calm, clarity. It helps slow the mind in a fast pace world. When we slow down, things become clearer and less daunting. Having control over our breath helps reduce stress and anxiety. Yoga strengthens our bodies largest support system, our musculature. Strong muscles protect our bones and our joints and promote healthy aging. Yoga increases our flexibility and improves range of motion. Yoga improves the function of our internal organs and systems, such as digestion. There really is no reason not to do yoga!
